Japanese selvedge denim 325 GSM - orange selvedge/dark indigo

Expertly woven in Japan, this is an amazing Japanese selvedge deadstock denim with no stretch. It has a tight weave and a firm drape with a heavier medium weight of 325 GSM. The classic indigo dye is a darker wash with soft white cross threads. This coveted style of Japanese denim features a sweet little selvedge with soft white and apricot yarns. Align your pattern pieces with the selvedge to sew designer quality jeans, jackets, overshirts, a tailored dress or skirt, shorts, tote bags or a lovely apron that will last a lifetime. Note the narrower width, which is standard for selvedge denim. Prewash separately and hang to dry (please test first). Launder your completed garment inside out to retain the dark color.
